I usually use for a crosspost, but I would be willing to adopt a new one for this instance.

We don't have one. It would come in handy in the countdown thread, that's for sure. I'll see what I can scare up.

How about a little guy holding up a little sign that says crosspost and then his head expodes?

Okay... I've two suggestions here:

1. A train-warning sign (it's an X shaped sign at railroad crossings)...take it from there.

2. The other, of course, is the most famous cross of all....a smiley cruxified. That would also fulfull the request for a :martyr: smiley.

It's not exactly the same thing, but a split frame, each with a smilie knocking on a door, but to no answer. (they are each at the other's door.)

Two smilies approaches without noticing each other, they proceed to write something on a wall, then they see each other and do the curses foiled again shaking fists kind of thing.

I'm trying to think of how to integrate a cross motif into that scheme.

ETA: Oh to borrow Ymir's idea, we could put the two smilies in their own frames and then join the two frames together after they post upon which they notice each other.

Of course smaller. And change the text, too! "CROSS" and "POST" & "INGS" otta work. And the little lower sign could say "TWO POSTS".

Of course, if you want it to be truly effective, is should have the smoking wreckage of a train collision in the background.
