That's not what I see at all. Because X is all about who you follow, by only following actual real people, you get actual real people posting, or responding. If you are a blue checkmark, or a Premium account (yes, this costs money) you have great filters available, and the experience is very much like the old internet, where you know who you are communicating with.

And you have your own killfile lists, (bozo filters), which was essential back in the UseNet days.

You youngsters have no idea what the old Usenet world was like. Most of the woke would have a heart attack, especially when they find out it's not possible to censor everything you don't agree with.

Unlike the old Usenet days, I can text, call or videocall anyone on X now. Or join a group. With the ability to upload massive files, long videos, audio or other data, X is becoming a www that is slightly outside of the old www

The haters and naysayers are on the outside, telling everyone how X is doomed, or it sucks, while on X, nobody gives a single fuck about any of that.
