But I'm missing my numbers. I don't want to mess it up for youse guys. Doesn't the post number correspond to the number we are on? In that case, this is post 44.

Would that be 101100? Maybe I can get the hang of it. I'm just not at all accustomed to it. I did graduate from the 8th grade though.

What are the rules in this thread regarding mistakes and posts without numbers? I've just been adding 1 to the last valid number - which is easy in binary. Making the binary number equal to the post number makes it easier to say what is correct .. but harder to work out!

I think it's just a matter of getting a hang of the pattern, moving the place values over. I think post number sounds good. The problem with democracy is that you have options. What are the options here?

The other problem is teaching people how to count if they jump in without knowledge. I have no problem with the rules being changed along the way.

I think youse guys made it extra challenging by doing it in smilies. Here is what pattern is beginning to emerge for me. If the last digit is 0, I replace it with 1. If the last digit is 1, I move that 1 over to the left and leave a 0 in the last place. If all of the places to the left are occupied by 1's, I add a new place with a 0.

Looks like you're catching on.
Yeah, all the other images are a confusion, but mostly variations of 1=yes/0=no.
