This sucks. I would wager that everyone at this forum knows and loves at least some of the songs he cowrote with his wife Valerie Simpson. For instance:

Wow, what an incredible portforlio. I didn't realize they'd written so many of those songs. "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" is one of my all-time favorites. RIP.
