Actually, I'm not so sure that it isn't true. Trump knows that he will likely face criminal charges if he loses and no longer enjoys the legal protections that come with being President.

As such, I've heard serious speculation that, if he loses, then a day or two before the transition of power, Trump will find it necessary to make an "emergency visit" to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the U.S. And he simply won't return.

I think that's pretty plausible, actually.


Personally, I want to see him after he loses to Biden. Specifically, I want to see him in an orange jumpsuit and chains, being frog-marched into prison, where he'll spend the rest of his miserable life.

That kinda feels like ‘defeat’ and Trump doesn’t do that even if it’s in his best interest. Worryingly I put him more in the murder-suicide, perhaps murder suicide ‘via cop’ that is forcing someone to shoot him before he kills them. This assumes he doesn’t just push himself so hard he strokes out. He’s already had warning strokes and seems to be hitting the uppers extra hard.

I’m kinda waiting for him to declare those that commit attacks to ‘restore order’ in democratic cities will be rewarded in heaven. We’re basically headed towards the Taliban regime afterall.

I honestly doubt that he will. Sure, he's broken all sorts of laws, significantly more than normal, but usually Presidents get a pass once they actually leave office. Will the Democrats want to disrupt that tradition?

It's a ruse.
There is no way he's going quietly. Kicking and screaming, dragged by six marshals, ploughing a furrow in the carpets with his heels, maybe.
Far more likely, he'll try to declare martial law, even if he has to start the riot himself and set fire to Washington as an excuse.
He finally has what he most wanted his entire life, at any price: to be the most powerful man in the world. I really don't believe he's capable of giving it up.
