I never paid much attention to Dallas, but I whiled away many an hour of my childhood watching "I Dream of Jeannie." Back in the day when we had a space program!
I saw Dallas first and then saw I Dream of Jeannie years later on Nick at Night. He was brimming with personality and verve and I had a big crush on him. RIP, Larry.
But doesn't a Rich, drug addict, alcoholic, deserve a transplant more than a young child with their whole life ahead of them. I'm sure Hagman would tell you that they would only waste that life on something like teaching, or medicine, or some other less worthy pursuit than mindless entertainment.
BTW, I watched 'I Dream of Jeannie', more for Barbara Eden than anything else.
