Re: It's the principle of the thing...
If you're going to post in English on a forum of mostly English-speaking people, it would help if you learned to write English better. Your spelling is also terrible.
If you learned to write English better, it might enhance your job prospects so you could earn enough money to pay off the bets you made.
Failing that, why not fuck off and die?

You may be assured Murray Rothbard and Ludwig Von Mises both read Marx; further if you took economics in college and no part of Marx's theories were excerpted I would be surprised.

Yeah, it's not like you can make money by writing books or making music. Why just the other day I passed JK Rowlings and 50 cent looking for handouts on the street and I told them "Stop begging and get a real job, like an economics professor or a professional forum troll, that's where the real money is!"

Seriously, you're a troll, right? Deliberately posting stuff that makes lolbertards look like total idiots? You're not actually a lolbertard at all, correct?

OK, he's trolling, deliberately posting stuff to make lolbertards look bad.
Not that they need any help.
History, literature, music, philosophy, arts, sociology, are useless crap. All the things that make us human are useless crap.
The life of the mind is useless crap.
All that matters is making money.

Actually, I've read all the lolbertards, "objectivists" and their dismal ilk. That's because I value the life of the mind, even learning something from those with whom I disagree.
I've even read Thomas Sowell. Hard to stop laughing at him.

Yet Ayn Rand, Ludwig Von Mises and Murray Rothbard are historical figures. Ayn Rand's objectivism is a philosophy. Ayn Rand wrote- wait for it- literature.
Let's see what the Ludwig Von Mises Institute says about their hero:
Quote:
One of the most notable economists and social philosophers of the twentieth century
|
Stupid philosophy! What's that good for?
Let's look at Murray Rothbard's life:
Quote:
Murray Newton Rothbard (March 2, 1926 – January 7, 1995) was an American economist, historian,
|
There's some of that "useless crap" you reject-
Quote:
Rothbard also was knowledgeable in history and political philosophy.
|
-and there it is again. Wow, what a foolish choice he made! If only he had known you, so you could have told him how he was wasting his time.

Here you go:
Quote:
In Marxian economics, exploitation refers to the subjection of producers (the proletariat) to work for passive owners (bourgeoisie) for less compensation than is equivalent to the actual amount of work done. The proletarian is forced to sell his or her labour power, rather than a set quantity of labour, in order to receive a wage in order to survive, while the capitalist exploits the work performed by the proletarian by accumulating the surplus value of their labour. Therefore, the capitalist makes his/her living by passively owning the means of production and generating a profit, which is really the product of the labor which is entitled to all it produces.
|
Do the owners of the basketball franchise accumulate the difference between what they pay professional athletes and what they charge for others to watch or attend, or license? Then yes, in Marxist terms these players are exploited, though hardly a representative sample of the proletariat.
Also, what tax did Obama raise, exactly, that bankrupted a small business owner?

Re: It's the principle of the thing...
Hey, Ayn, why do you use Ayn Rand's name in your user name, when Ayn Rand called Lolbertards monstrous?
Here's a hint for you: one of the reasons that lolbertards like you are monsters, according to Rand, is that lolbertards are plagiarists (boy, did she ever anticipate you! ) and another reason is that they disdain history and philosophy.

Hey, genius, why don't you tell us, in your own words, and at some expository length, what these writers said and why they said it, and do so without plagiarizing the explanations of others?
Can't do it, can you?
