I just got dinged because "auditing" doesn't like it when my change tickets have the same text as the request tickets my customers open. I finally have most of my customers trained to specify exactly want they want me to do in their requests, so I just copy that into my changes, because IT IS THE BEST POSSIBLE DESCRIPTION OF WHAT I WILL BE DOING. So, I guess my options are (a) tell my customers to give me poorer descriptions of what they want so I can sex them up for the change text, (b) create my changes with poorer descriptions of what I will be doing, or c) pretend I'm a fucking schoolkid plagiarizing a paper and just change a word here and there after I copy their request to my change.

I just did (c) and was, non-ironically, thanked for cooperating so quickly. I EVEN FUCKING TOLD THE GUY THAT WAS ALL I DID.

I just got a call for this scam, and now I wish I'd kept them on the phone for a while. I was right in the middle of something so I just basically told him to fuck off and stop being a scammer shithead.

But now I've decided to BLAME COMCAST because the stupid call didn't send any call data at all. Not just no CID, but no call data. Plus, the asshole asked for me by name. Also their fault because they charge some horrible ridiculous amount of money to be unlisted.

So I think I'm just gonna go yell at Comcast. Ha ha!

Yeah, these guys are knowingly conducting an active, criminal scam. They're definitely responsible.

I assume that most scams conducted over landlines in the middle of the day in the middle of the week are at least aiming for the olds, even when they end up hitting young hepcats such as myself.

Also I am thinking this is probably related to my credit card getting frauded a couple months ago.
