The funny thing with Musk's X is that even if he could gather the infrastructure and engineers to make his dream possible, he's already poisoned the well. After he's grabbed accounts, banned accounts, unbanned accounts, cut off service, started charging for other parts, etc. It's clear everything on X is Musk's first and the user's second. Only idiots or greedy insecure fanboys are going to be willing to give their information and bank accounts over to such a man.
X really seems like it's heading towards some sort of 'social credits' system just like the CCP, only it's Musk and his fan boys that hand out the social credits so it's acceptable.
