It’s amazing how quickly a Blue Check has become the new MAGA hat, I think we should all be grateful that Musk can’t run for president. Many temporarily embarrassed millionaires willing to pay $8 a month to have the richest man in the world justify to them that they don’t have to be good, nice, reasonable, introspective people to get those millions they so deserve. Just be a big bully.

Musk sues non-profit for saying hate has only increased on his watch. Unrelated, anti-semite Kanye West has been reinstated to twitter.

The suit, against the nonprofit Center for Countering Digital Hate, focused on research the organization published in June. In one report, the CCDH looked at 100 different accounts subscribed to Twitter Blue and found that Twitter failed to act on 99% of hate posted by users. The group also questioned whether Twitter’s algorithm boosts “toxic tweets.”

Other CCDH research indicated that Twitter failed to act on 89% of anti-Jewish hate speech and 97% of anti-Muslim hate speech on the platform.
