It's one bugger of a feature

Posted 02-10-2009 at 06:24 PM by Sock Puppet

So the wife started a Facebook page a couple months back. Within freaking hours, people from her past, and some from our shared past, came out of the woodwork. Even my 70-plus-year-old kung fu teacher has a friggin' Facebook page.

It's a wonderful way to reconnect with old friends and acquaintances from your past. People thought to be long gone and forgotten can suddenly become part of your present.

Which is why I will never, NEVER start a Facebook page.

I know what you mean, but I'm on there anyway. Most of my family below the age of 54 and above the age of 13 are on Facebook too.

You and me both, brother. The last thing I want is to be tracked down by random people I managed to escape long ago.
