Welcome to the Freethought Forum
The lofty high Renaissance and marked mannerism. The heavy and ornate Baroque era, followed by the gentle Rococo. Harsh neo-classicism, rich romanticism, lush naturalism, stern realism, blurred impressionism. Heady surrealism, blockish cubism, postwar Dada, pointy-cornered art deco and cookie cutter Bauhaus. Let us skip the dreariness of the past half century and arrive finally at FF Style.

Young people confused by technology
May 26, 2017 - 4:32 PM - by JoeP
This is a gem:

What are the Windows A: and B: drives used for? - Super User

Quote:
In Windows you have a C-drive. Everything labeled beyond that is with the following letter.

So your second drive is D, your DVD is E and if you put in a USB stick it becomes F and the following drive G. And so on and so forth.

But then, what and where are A and B-drives?
This is one of the highest-voted questions on Super User. (The highest is Why does Windows think that my wireless keyboard is a toaster? which is also worth a visit.)

19 dead so far, evidently. Police treating it as possible terrorism. Some of the deaths also appear to have resulted from a stampede.

This sucks. I don't really have anything else helpful or insightful to say right now.
