How long was it down? Nullifidian posted about it on my blog last night, and it's on the same server as the forum.

Time lost all meaning during that time. A few hours, at least, from when I got up to when I took my kids to be raised by my mother, as I was too distraught to care for them myself. Once I got back, it was up.

It might have something to do with the fact that my gmail, facebook and possibly other accounts have been compromised.

It was down for less than two hours. It was just before 11:30 p.m. PDT when the forum went down. I was writing a response at the time, hit submit, and found the forum had vanished. :ohnoes:

It was already back up by 1:15 a.m., when I checked the forum for the last time before going to bed. :cheer:

I opened a ticket and they responded that our site experienced a "small attach" last night (I think it's supposed to read 'attack', as in DDoS attack, but if it's a mistake it happens twice in the email) but that they were able to mitigate it by changing our IP address. Again it seems unlikely that it's related to my personal email account being hacked because I use a different email address and password for here and my personal stuff and the personal stuff was attacked at about 7:00 AM today, but what a coincidence!
