Sharon may be the only one who commented but she's not alone in the sentiment. There's a pretty clear difference between a newb bumping an old thread or two and a long-time member who makes a habit of coming around infrequently and bumping up conversations that have been idle for weeks.

I have not noticed it as much lately, but over the last couple years there have been numerous times when you have come by after being away for weeks and indiscriminately bumped old threads to add your comments. For example on more than one occasion I've seen you welcome people who posted an intro several weeks prior and never posted again. Does it occur to you that such people are fly-by-night posters who will probably never visit again? Do you care? Most of the time it doesn't seem like you do.

Initially I was going to simply ignore the bump and move on. But as it was the first time I'd visited in a few weeks, and the first thing I see on the forum index is a link to this thread, my curiosity as to wtf such a weird bump was all about was too piqued, I wandered in and was immediately presented with a page that had posts by Skep and justaman, two of the few very special friends who have sadly shrugged this mortal coil. This is why I didn't have a cow or didn't simply ignore - my feelings were too strong, and so Auld Lang Syne it was.

Anyway, just thought I'd clarify the lack of cow, fwiw.
