Youtube Embedding

I used to be able to embed youtube videos just by putting the url in a post like so:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1puvpxQAM8

Now if I do that I seem to always get just a link to the video: Steam Park - GameNight! Se2 Ep7 - YouTube

Has something changed? Is there a trick?

Yes, but not at this end. The new internet standard seems to be to offer links with the encrypted protocol https (take a look at the URL in the OP). The auto-embed function doesn't parse this, but all you need to do is edit to remove the 's' and you're home free.
