I'm on IE at work too. I has chickenses in quick reply and advanced reply but not in edit mode. No chickenses in edit mode.

Re: Forum Upgrade - Spring '09
Is the 'mobile' view still available? I've not been able to post with it for ages now, but I have been using to browse the forum using hand-held devices because it fits small displays better and refreshes really fast.
But now when I use my bookmark to get the mobile view: http://www.freethought-forum.com/for....php?styleid=6 I get the 'normal' view.

Ooo, you can also see post edit histories now. Very cool. ( for example, click on the "Last edited by ChuckF")
eta: testing something. Post edit histories are only for edits after the 10 min. window.
eta2: testing again. Or if you enter a reason for editing.
eta3: yet again. If you enter a reason it will make all edits visible, even those made within the 10 min. window.

That's not a link for me. Can you only see your own edit history?
I'm editing this post to test.
Yes, I can see my edit history.

Oops, I never did see that notification so I didn't think it had worked. Ironically, I think the upgrade fixed the notification system.

I finally deleted it a couple weeks ago because it was broken and really out of date. I intend to replace it soon.

Re: Forum Upgrade - Spring '09
Looks like ES is having the same problem I am. I thought it might be the library pc's but I'm posting from home now. I go to log off, hit the okay that pops up, and nothing happens.
ETA: Okay, that's funny! I went to log out again, but hit cancel instead of okay, and it logged me out.

I just noticed that same thing, but when I clicked "return to the page you were on" it remembered me.
Still working on it.

Re: Forum Upgrade - Spring '09
It's not urgent but search is broaked from the gallery.
1) Go to any gallery image
2) Go to the search link in the bar at the top
3) Enter search term, hit go
4) White page
Anybody else getting this?

Just tested in Firefox 3.0.8, MSIE 8 and Chrome 2.0.169.1 with no problems.

Re: Forum Upgrade - Spring '09
So now that the boards have been upgraded to the latest and greatest version of vBulletin, is there any chance of some of the old hacks coming back such as the quote generator? One of the old ignore features I really liked was the ability to ignore specific posts. Will that make a comeback?
I just thought I would ask. In addition, one of the icons at the top of the board is messed up. The icon next to the bolded title of threads is messed up. Instead of the usual icon it is a generic icon of an open folder.

Re: Forum Upgrade - Spring '09
That would be somewhat superfluous when you consider Firefox has its own (even though it sucks donkey balls at times).

Re: Forum Upgrade - Spring '09
Also, not everyone has the choice to use Firefox. Per instance, at my workplace, along with many others, it's IE only.

Did the Reply box always remember your previous sizing or is that a new feature?

Couldn't tell ya.
Moncap, we're always open to the possibility of reinstating old features, time and all that permitting.
