Rogan is very much a safe space which is nicely ironic given how much many of his fans bitch and cry about ‘safe spaces.’ People can go on and rant about whatever their topic is with a receptive host, and feel comfortable in whatever their opinion is. Unfortunately without any other guidance the audience is left to wonder what’s real and what’s fantasy.

Which makes Rogen an excellent prejudice enforcer. Did you think his guest was an intelligent person everyone should be listening too? Then you probably will think the same after the show. Did you think they were a wingnut before, then you almost certainly still do after the show. Unfortunately with Rogen just nodding along, it means there are plenty of viewers that think the UFO expert and race haters are the intelligent voices and the scientists and historians are the crazy kooks.
